Mark Spain is an Atlanta native and a University of Georgia graduate from the Terry College of Business. With his 2006 sales, Mark Spain broke the $1 billion sales mark for lifetime sales—he is believed to be one of only 100-200 Realtors in the nation to achieve this, out of well over 1 million Realtors. In 2010, the Mark Spain Team was once again named one of America’s top real estate professional teams by The Wall Street Journal and REAL Trends magazine in its annual Top 400 Real Estate Professionals list. Mark and his team placed #29 in the nation for transaction sides and #78 in sales volume. Annually one of the top 25 RE/MAX agents in the world, Mark Spain’s 2010 sales performance placed him as the #18 RE/MAX agent in the United States for closed transactions and #23 worldwide, out of 90,000 RE/MAX agents in 80 countries. In 2011, Mark made the decision to change companies and is now partnered with Keller Williams Realty. While at RE/MAX, Mark Spain earned every award available within the company, including the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2004 and being one of the youngest agents to be inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame. A couple years ago, Mark and his team adjusted to a changing real estate market and expanded into the short sale and foreclosure prevention arena. Wanting to help educate consumers and distressed homeowners on their rights and options, the Mark Spain Team created http://www.GreaterAtlantaForeclosureHelp.com. The site offers tips on avoiding foreclosure, includes details on how a short sale differs from a foreclosure and offers free reports to help inform troubled Georgia homeowners.
